Even you can now calculate the wind chill factor in your local weather by using this simple calculator.
We have all heard of the wind chill factor and know that it means it feels colder than what it is outside, but most of us don't really know why it feels that way.
The wind chill factor is what happens to your body when the cold wind effects your ability to hold in heat. When your out in the cold weather your body naturally radiates off heat, but when the wind comes into play it can radiate off at a faster rate.
There are two factors that you need to calculate the wind chill. The temperature and the wind in MPH.
Once you have your two factors you can calculate the wind chill with a simple formula:
Twc is the wind chill, Ta is the temperature, and V is the wind speed in MPH.
